WHAT IS CHOLESTEROL ?

Cholesterol is a normal constituent of the blood. It is found in the cell membranes and layer of the skin. It is present in meat, fish, poultry and eggs, but only in trace quantities in vegetable fats. 

Excessive cholesterol in the diet is thought increase the incidence of heart disease. This excessive cholesterol is derived from the saturated fats we consumed through our food. 

Excess fat is always an impediment to the heart’s function under the handicap of a excessive layer of fat, most people can successfully control their cholesterol by reducing their fat intake and weight.
