ONE MEAL A DAY

There is a proverb in Kannada: one who takes one meal a day is a yogi

One who takes two meals a day is a sensualist

One who takes three meals a day is a patient

And one who takes four meals a day has to be carried to a burial.



A single meal a day program me, people usually think that they can take a heavy dinner or late afternoon meal. We know that our digestive system is more active in the morning. So even if we consume a food high in calories in the morning does not do much harm. However as the day advances, the taste buds become more active and we intend to eat more, so heavy dinner is not suitable. Even in a one meal a day program me to lose weight follow a moderate meal program me.

1.   Slowly Chew properly (The food should not be swallowed until it has been chewed to pulp. So follow the rule
2.   Eat masticate well
3.   Keep the food in the mouth longer during the coarse of a meal.
4.   Do not eat fast
Actually by chewing and eating one can prevent any disease. Therefore obesity is also prevented.
