YOGA

Yoga is a form of exercise where both the body and the mind is brought together. It assists you to breathe better and strengthens the spine. It tones flabby muscles and improves postures. Your body attains the perfect shape. Yoga exercises may be practiced to reduce weight. It is the most natural way . no money is needed. Instruments are not required. Along with weight reducing diet yoga helps shed excess weight effectively.



Yoga exercises are not strenuous. Almost all yogic exercises involve every part of the body it is not a spot reducing exercise.

                          NOTE.

Yogasanas as they are called must be performed daily at a fixed time.
When practice is commenced, it should not be discontinued.
Selected yogic exercises are beneficial for obesity. Natural diet is enough for these exercises.

The common yogasanas that help in the reduction of weight are.

1.   Dhanurasana
Is the most powerful exercise. It stimulates all the endocrine glands from the thyroid in the neck to the sex glands in the pelvic region. If practiced regularly obesity can be cured. However people suffering from hernia, spinal injuries and fractures & stomach ulcers should not practice this Astana.

Yogasanas are taught by teachers. They have to be learnt and practiced. Book guidance will not help.
Parvatasana is performed in the sitting posture is padmasana.

Yogasanas have to performed slowly. Hurry is not good. In the complete posture one has to be for 20 to 30 seconds. Yogasanas may be performed either in the morning or evening with bare stomach or little water. Yogasanas should not be practiced
